Amnesty International members are warmly invited to an Extraordinary Meeting (EM) on Wednesday 23 November 2022 at 7pm
The EM will take place online via Zoom -
The purpose of the EM is to elect seven members to the Board of Amnesty International Aotearoa New Zealand (AIANZ). There have been eight nominations for the seven available positions.
To attend and vote at the EM, you must be before the EM begins. A Zoom link will be emailed to all registered attendees along with instructions for online voting. Voting will be done online during the meeting and will open after nominees have had an opportunity to speak to their nomination.
The EM will take place on Wednesday 23 November 2022, 7pm to 8.35pm.

Due Diligence Panel Report
Because all currently serving Board members are up for re-election, an independent panel was put in place to undertake a due diligence process.

Members who wish to vote in the Board elections are strongly encouraged to attend the Extraordinary Meeting on 23 November in order to hear from each nominee directly, and therefore be in a better position to make an informed decision.
However, if a member cannot attend the Extraordinary Meeting and wishes to vote via a proxy, they must fill in a Proxy Voting Form (see below) and email it to no later than 5pm on 13 November 2022. Proxy votes will be deemed invalid if they do not include the required information or are received after the deadline.
