FIGHT FOR TE TIRITI JUSTICE

If you submitted on the Treaty Principles Bill (thank you!), there are still more ways to take action for Te Tiriti.

Email your MP

While submissions may have closed for the Treaty Principles Bill, you can still call on the Government to oppose the Bill and honour Te Tiriti. Email your local MP and let them know what you value and what you oppose. Check out our page to help you craft your email.

Read these resources

It’s a great time to learn about Te Tiriti so you can start to have important conversations with yourself and your whānau. Check out Matike Mai to learn more about constitutional change. Dr Carwyn Jones has a useful primer on the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi Bill. Dr Luke Fitzmaurice-Brown has a series of talks on the Bill and broader issues relating to Te Tiriti and indigenous rights.

These resources, a Q&A and more can be found here!

TAKE ACTION FOR GAZA

Sign our petition

While we welcome the news of a temporary ceasefire, our calls for Israel to be held accountable for its genocide against Palestinians in Gaza still remain. Sign our petition urging Luxon and Peters to act! Also, contact your local MP and share our with them to raise awareness.
